London Transport Museum - how much time do I need?

General question really (mods please move if in wrong place) how much time would you advise to really appreciate the museum?

I’ve got a weekend in November in London and would love to fit the museum in if I have enough time.

I'd say probably 60-120 Mins, maybe on the higher end if you want to llok at everything.

Ah, awesome. I have about a 4 hour gap so should be able to fit it in then. Thanks for the help

I'd personally not bother with the museum in Covent Garden, I'd look at returning to London next year when one of the open days are held at Acton Museum Depot, there will be much more to see.

I would allow about 90 minutes for the actual visit. The museum has been designed imaginatively and there is a lot to see. Some good hands on stuff and plenty of photo ops. The shop is a definite highlight for me, and there’s a cafe if you need sustenance!
If you have time on your hands that day, and if you’re interested in that sort of thing, the bar on the top floor of the Royal Opera House offers fabulous views of Covent Garden. The Aperol Spritz I had there was fabulous!
