I can't find an ideal train at a decent price at the moment, I am after a train from London to Coventry, happy to go via Oxford, Leamington, leicester, Nuneaton whatever for the right price! Anytime after about 3pm and arriving before 7 (bad times I know!) I already have the outbound ticket so just need a full adult single.

Yes. The £22.90 ticket will allow you to get the 1546 and change at Rugby at 1641. If you are lucky, you will get the delayed 1638 from Rugby. If not, you will need to wait for the 1717.

The return fare is only 10p more so you may decide to buy the return anyway in case you find a use for it in the next month.
