We had another good meet discussing all things rail and as always it was great to meet another new member in the form of NLC1072 and the other guy (STEVIEBOY1 I think?).

Cheers guys and hopefully see you all at the next one.

Good to have seen everyone. Sorry I had to run, but I really did have to run.

I had 12 minutes to get my train by the time I arrived at KGX! And home just after midnight *yawn*

Many tks for Friday evening, I know it's not always easy arranging these things. I enjoyed meeting you all and hope to come to the next one in July. (Can a mate of mine come too, he is a train & bus fan.)

The City was mentioned, there are a number of Spoons there, I have also been to places like Strada, Cote and Cafe Rouges, they are good, but may be more expensive. Tattershall Castle may be worth considering too, it's a floating pub & eatery near Embankment, Charing Cross. Kind Rgds Steve.

...and the PS Tattershall Castle is, of course, a former railway owned ferry isn't she?:)

I Am sure you are correct, I think she used to operate in the Hull/Humber area. It would be an interesting venue for drinks and or food, you can not pre book tables though. All being well I am having a samll lunch gathering there in the next few weeks and will need to get there early to grab some tables/chairs.
