London Overground this morning

I was at Harringay Green Lanes station this morning and a train passed the Eastbound platform - it was 4 bright yellow passenger carriages with the Network Rail logo on the side and it was top and tailed by diesel engines. Anyone tell me what this is?

From the sounds of it, that looks like the Network Rail Measurement train

were the diesels yellow as well? Did they look like HSTs?

Not necessarily the NMT, as all NR test trains are bright yellow and tend to be top and tailed (though some do use a DBSO instead). Either way it is almost certainly some sort of NR test train.

The Diesels were blue IIRC, and they had the name of some rail company or something on the side although I can't remember what it was. I'm used to seeing freight trains pulled by EWS engines on the line but have never seen anything like this before...anywhere.

They weren't HST, they were similar to those in ainsworths avatar (I'm not really up with names and stuff, apologies!)

What would they be testing?/measuring?

Then it was probably the test train, DRS Class 37's have been on it a number of times before.

31/DBSO and test train combo has been parked up the last few days on Bletchley depot

 

[Tottenham Flyer]

37059 and 37069 were running around on a test train in that area on Thursday, so more than likely was them.
