I was toying with the idea of having a day around London on May 8th and I'm just after your thoughts...
Obviously it's the coronation, which I'll openly admit I have no interest in, my thoughts are that most of the events relating to this will be held on Saturday and Sunday, so by Monday, people will be starting to head home, so Monday shouldn't be that much busier than a normal bank holiday Monday, I'd be traveling down in the morning and heading back north in the evening, so in theory I'd be traveling against the flow, so the trains shouldn't be okay.
Would this be an fairly accurate guess or am I way off the mark? I guess what I'm trying to ask is how busy do you all feel London will be on Monday compared to a usual bank holiday?
I'm not really interested in going if it's going to be chaos...
