London Necropolis Railway

Just found an interesting article about this "disused" and lifted railway.

I have read something abut this operation before. Very intrestingif a little strange!

It was featured on one of the Michael Portillo programmes during the winter, at least at the Waterloo end where he showed where the station used to be situated.

Either oakwood or Middleton press did a book about this line.

I have many books on the Waterloo to Brookwood section of track but none of them mention this. Thanks for posting its very interesting.

Besides Porto, there was a more in depth programme about this railway, a few years or so ago on BBC, forget the series.
