Hi all,

Can anyone tell me, please, where the London Midland sidings are which serve London Euston?

Many thanks.

Camden Carriage Sidings just outside of the station.

Thanks,

There are some sidings at the top of Camden Bank - is this what you mean? Otherwise there are sidings at Bletchley and at the depot at Northampton

The nearest sidings are Camden Down Sidings - mainly used for stabling stock between the peaks, with a little bit of use overnight.

Next up the line is Bletchley Carriage sidings, where alot of the fleet stables overnight.

The main depot for the EMU fleet is King's Heath at Northampton.

Camden (formerly the steam shed), has been used for stabling commuter units since the 60s. The Euston Upside and Downside sheds stabled intercity stock. The Downside shed was the Home Depot for the EN sets, and in its last active use was used by Rail Express Parcels to maintain stock

Watford Yard and AC bay platforms can be used as well ...(though not normally)

The closest you get is the unit from the Abbey which stables in platform 11 unless access is needed to the branch overnight or other reasons the train cannot be in platform 11, in which case it shunts to platform 10.

And the units from the derailment were "stabled" in the Yard but that's as much as I've seen in there myself!

What derailment was that?

Fixed that for you.

In the future. Camden Carriage sidings will also cater for a small number of 11 coach pendolinos as well.

Thanks,
Ross

Really? Do you have any more details on that? First I've heard of that one!

Do any London Midland trains stable at Euston overnight, or is it just London Overground that currently do that?
