London Midland Class 323 at Rugby!

Today i travelled down to Rugby when i was there, i saw an London Midland Class 323 arriving on Platform 5 with sorry not in service, it stayed there for an few seconds but it left the station and headed to Northampton way? taking an gues it's staff training?

It was 323216 & was working 5Z23 11:49 Soho - Wolverton where it will undergo a C6 exam. Not sure how long it's there for though. Sometimes LM Cl323s find their way to Northampton King's Heath for tyre turning (instead of going to the usual place of Crewe ETD) too.

When the Silverlink service from London - Birmingham was truncated to Northampton and Central covered Birmingham - Northampton, 323s were a fairly common site in Northampton.

I read somewhere that LM have proposed extending one of the Birmingham - Coventry services onto Northampton - making 3 tph between Northampton and Birmingham. If that happens I'd expect to see more 323s turning up in Rugby and Northampton.
