It is currently working the Manchester Victoria to Clitheroe and return service coupled to an Arriva Trains Wales class 150!...now theres an odd combination on a Lancashire branch:-?

Unless that ROSCO only owns 10 153s, you'd think LM must have had at least something to do with it!

I was on the 2100 Manchester Victoria-Clitheroe on Wednesday 24th August, which was formed of a 156 and said 153.

Here is the aforementioned service:

Currently on the 15.48 man vic to leeds sandwiched between 2 other 153's!

I take it that this has now left without replacement. Any plans for an extra 153? Also do LM have a reasonably high 153 utilisation now?

I'd hardly say without replacement - Northern has received numerous 150's from LM plus the 142's from FGW. Much better than 2 carriages worth of 153, really.

So now the 150 cascade has been compleated, will LM go back to having ten 153's anytime soon?

No, 153325 and 153333 are staying with FGW permanently.
