Taken by surprise one day last week to find a 150 on the front of a train I got off at Snow Hill - presumably covering the fire damaged 172s.

Taken by surprise one day last week to find a 150 on the front of a train I got off at Snow Hill - presumably covering the fire damaged 172s.

Would appears to be so. They have 1 Birmingham diagram (the other on the Marston Vale) but this works to New St only. There is a Spare unit so could have been commandeered , presumably a job worked by Worcester crew as the other Snow Hill line Depots would have lost their traction knowledge by now.

On the front of the train? What was the part you'd been on?

A 172, which was leading from Foregate Street on the 15.21 from Great Malvern, and rear from Shrub Hill.
I was surprised there are diagrams not involving Stourbridge or Leamington drivers. Not sure whether Birmingham Snow Hill is a seperate depot to New St.
