Good Evening all,

New here so if this is posted in the wrong section apologies, was just wanting to know having been many times to London spotting, what are the best locations for a mixture freight, passenger, etc??

Busiest places are
South Kenton / Harrow and Wealdstone for WCML stuff
Acton Mainline or Ealing Broadway for GWML
Stratford for GEML.

For freight it’s always worth looking at Real Time Trains and searching for non passenger workings.

Willesden Junction also worth a try with both high and low levels producing freight.

 

[PGAT]

Lewisham area has some pretty nice views.

The WCMl’s Wembley TMD is always a good go For special workings

Woking or Eastleigh. Check RTT on the day for workings

Tonbridge West yard is usually good for a few - get yourself on the footbridge
