TFL announced that the frequency of route 154 will be increased to a bus every fifteen minutes in the evenings and on Sundays, as opposed to the current twenty minutes. There will also be three extra journeys from Croydon to Sutton, departing Croydon at 1am, 1.30am and 2am on all nights of the week. This comes after four years of extensive campaigning by local MP Tom Brake following the withdrawal of night route N213 between Sutton and Croydon in 2009.
