London Bridge station is due for a much-needed redevelopment after the Olympics. With the Thameslink programme in doubt, can anyone help me with whether the works on the station itself are part of that programme? Or are they being funded by the developers of the Shard? Thanks!

What is in doubt about the Thameslink Programme? I haven't been able to find anything on Google today,the only cutbacks I'm aware of are the slippage of the completion date to 2016 and the possibility of only 20tph rather than 24 through the core section.

Just working on the basis that everything that isn't already completed is in doubt!

AIUI the Shard work (I see the core is up to nearly 30 floors now) is all external to the existing platforms, but it does have some role in increasing the concourse area. All the platform changes are down to Thameslink, and there is also something called the London Bridge 'masterplan' which I think covers the rest of the exterior, the bus stands etc etc...
