Londom Midland Great Escape + Network Railcard

I'm thinking of taking advantage of London Midland's Great Escape offer this weekend. The conditions generously allow tickets purchased with a Network Railcard to be used on the whole London Midland network, not just the normal Network Railcard area.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to purchase Network Railcard discounted Great Escape tickets outside the Network area? (I already have a Network Railcard, but I would be trying to buy my Great Escape ticket at Runcorn, which is someway beyond the limits of the former NSE territory...)

That should be fine as Runcorn is on the LM network.

Many thanks for the reply.

I am sure that Runcorn will have no difficulty doing a Great Escape ticket, it's the Network Railcard discount that I wasn't so sure about. My question was really to discover whether any forum members had either succeeded or failed to buy a Network Railcard discounted Great Escape ticket at a station which is outside the Network Railcard area.

Despite my (probably totally unnecessary) concern, the booking office at Runcorn were very happy to sell me Great Escape tickets with a Network Railcard reduction for travel tomorrow and Sunday. Looks like I'm all set for a very cheap weekend away:D
