There seems to be a slight problem accessing this site. I use Firefox and my "My Yahoo" page to get here. Click on the link for the forum and it opens in a new tab, as it is mean toe. However, where I was previously shown as logged in, now it is not showing as logged in. Click on the link to log in and there is a message to enable cookies. Cookies are enabled, but there seems to be no way to enable them and log in. But if I then click on the forum Home Page link, I'm in and logged in.

Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I thought I'd flag it up in case there is a wider issue.

Wonder whether it's anything to do with the forum upgrade / downtime the other night?

If you're experience cookie-related notices it's likely a hangover from some stale caching in your browser from the site before it was moved between servers on Sunday night. Clearing your browser cache/cookies should resolve the issue.

It keeps logging me out when I've closed the site.
No great problem - just have to log in again each time, but something's changed.

One of our admins is going to beat the Forum with a stick in the near future and tell it to shape up, sort itself out and get a grip. Which will hopefully solve the problem.

Don't know if this is helpful, but I had the problem referred to above when I accessed the Forum via an old bookmark. Clicking on the RailUKforums logo at top left of the page then logged me back in, and deleting/renewing the bookmark seems to have solved the problem. I didn't want to delete all cookies, because I think that would have led to every other website that I routinely use demanding that I allow their cookies again.........

I concur with this. When accessing the forum via the original bookmark, the page shows ' Not Secure 'next to the URL RFNOOK.png

but using a new bookmark, created after logging in it, seems to be OK. RFOK.png

Many thanks @kermit for the info, I'll use the new bookmark for now and see if it continue to keep me logged in but so far so good. .

That's interesting, because mine shows not secure as well... I'll try re-bookmarking it in a minute and see what happens.

Edited to update: No, it made no difference... still shows "not secure". Almost couldn't get back in to it either!!!
