Has anyone had any experience of having to claim compensation from Loganair for a qualifying delay (ie over 3 Hours) ?

Only asking as my son suffered one from Birmingham to Aberdeen a couple of weeks ago when the aircraft went TECH.

Said they would get back to him in 21 days after he submitted his £220 claim.

Just to advise they got back to him this week offering 15000 Clan Points or the £220.
No prizes for guessing which he chose.
I am worried a lot of his fellow travellers will not have claimed as Loganair said nothing about the entitlement onboard. This is one area Train companies are more forthcoming than Airlines.
Should have the money in a week.
