Locomotive Drawings

Hi,

I'm looking for drawings, preferably with dimensions, for the Hudswell Clarke MSC Long Tanks, such as MSC 67 at the Middleton Railway. I could also do with things such as the boiler dimensions, if possible.

Alternatively (or as well), any information on the differences between the long tanks and the standard tanks would be appreciated too - someone has suggested that the long tank has a slightly different cab and fatter boiler but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know where such drawings could be acquired? It's for 3d modelling purposes.

Finally, if anyone knows where drawings of other Hudswell Clarke, Manning Wardle, Kitson, Hunslet or Barclay designs are available for free, I'd be very interested to hear. Many thanks.

Assuming by the silence that nobody knows of drawings for these specific classes, does anyone know where I should contact to enquire about loco drawings in general? I've tried contacting a couple of railways via facebook/email and never had a response.

I've heard the NRM charge quite a bit for use of their archives too?

AFAIK if you visit in person, looking at NRM's archives are free. If you get someone to do the research for you, it's £25 per half day.

Just in case anyone else is interested, the NRM pointed me towards the Statfold Barn Railway who apparently hold most of the Hunslet (and associated companies) records.
