Clearly in Bulgarian Railways (BDZ) livery.

DB still has them as Class 232 etc and some may have been sold on to countries further East, but 07 is apparenty the original BDZ class number, so I dont think these are secondhand.

How do you do strikethrough!? Deleted part of original post. I'd always assumed that the M62 and Ludmilla were essentially the same family.

Also nicknamed Ludmila's I think, saw one exactly like that one in Bulgaria earlier this year, huge loco's a bit like a 56, taller but shorter.

These are one of the many variants of the Soviet M62 (Taigatrommel in German, DR class 130 etc) but clearly in Bulgarian Railways (BDZ) livery.

Sorry, no this is not an M62 nor a Taigatrommel.

Bulgarian Class 07

This is a Ludmilla (built in Luhansk, in the currently troubled region of Eastern Ukraine); delivered new to Bulgaria, same as DR class 130/131/132 (DBAG 230 - 234)
