Local ticket around Porto

Is there a cheap local ticket I can get for travel around Porto that would allow me to do 1400 and 2600 hauled trains? It's just to save me using an interrail day.

It's 7,50EUR for a day pass on the entire Urban network but this is all units - so not much good for loco haulage.

The Regional/InterRegional stuff is all point-to-point tickets.

But normal full fare on CP is not that high compared with other west-EUR countries. IF you have some plans for it-just check on their site the price. The ride (but I dk if they use those series for that line-was there many moons ago and vaguely remember it was a loco-hauled normal train) along the Douro eastward is quite fine in scenery too.
The urban network does not stretch very far out and is much more aimed at the buses+trams. ONce time ago they used to have quite interesting stock for that-but probably all history now too (double deck bus, trolleybus, quaint trams)

A single from Porto to Pocinho (end of the Douro line) is 14,90€ so depending on the pass length - the fares would quickly add up (even a short journey to Nine is 4,90€). Full fare table for the Douro line is here.

As for Urban transport - the ticket price stated in my first reply is for the Urbano category of trains - which do in fact stretch a reasonable distance (Braga etc). There's a separate ticket for the Metro (to most of us, tram) system and buses.

Unlike Lisbon the surviving historic trams charge an extra fare (or at least did in 2022).

The 40€ Andante Metropolitano allows you to ride InterRegional within the Porto Metropolitan Area, along with Metro, Tram, Cable Car, Buses, Urbano, and Regional.
The Silver Andante card is 6€, so the total amount would be 46€ for a reusable PVC card you can use to travel anywhere, any time, and how many times you want.

Thanks everyone for responses, will be in Porto for 2 days, which originally I was hoping to use an interrail for both days but something has cropped up meaning need one of the days elsewhere so hoped some kind of local ticket I could use on local hauled trains. Seems not!
Actually just after 3 1400s so hope, if any out, can get them on the day I use interrail and may just deckchair the next day, see what's about and just buy a ticket if anything takes my fancy!

The Andante Tour 1 (24hr) 7 euro card should allow you to take 1400/2600 hauled trains from Sao Bento/Campanha to Ermesinde if you are happy with short distances. I don't see any restriction on type of train just area covered.

Actually, I maybe wrong .... closer look at the Andante FAQ's does seem to suggest CP Porto URBAN trains only. Sorry.
