With the eventual retirement of LNER's Mark IV/Class 91 sets, there are (obvious) inside rumours are that the replacements will be manufactured by CAF, and that the order will be placed sometime this year. What do you think? Will LNER stick with a push-pull formation like with TPE's Mk5's or go with an EMU or similar, like the 397.

Definitely better to allow it to move the train, if only at 25mph to the next station for an evacuation. If every train had this sort of facility the impact of strandings would be massively reduced. It'd give you back the flexibility that used to exist when there was a pilot locomotive at most...
