LNER Tinkering with Advance Ticket Quotas?

Overnight it appears cheaper fares on one LNER service have been deleted, with fares jumping by 8 quotas. I doubt anyone has purchased tickets as this new minimum price is reflected as far as the booking horizon allows, with the '4 seats available' being the default for the cheapest ticket on a service I think.

Similarly automatic SeatFrog upgrades (where you bid over a certain mystery price and get awarded the upgrade automatically...at a price lower than the buy it now price) seem to also have gone up.

Of course they are free to do what they want but LNER are tightening the purse strings it seems

This may be unrelated, but I wonder if Avanti have also altered their advance quotas.

On a normal day, there are plenty advances available for the next day on the northern WCML between Carlisle and Glasgow/Edinburgh.

There are absolutely none for tomorrow, and yet some of the services are completely empty (The 09:22 from Carlisle to Glasgow has only 25 seats reserved across all standard coaches and has no advances available. The 07:56 also looks just as quiet) - I wonder if there is some issue with the quota for each tier?

Not that there is a requirement for TOC's to sell advances - but it does seem strange that none are available all day despite how quiet services are, it suggests the quota has been set to nearly zero (or the cutoff deadline has been moved).
