LNER Tickets in the new year

Anybody know when Network Rail will finalise their maintenance work and then LNER will release tickets for 6/7th and 13th/14th Jan 2025? I have to book a ticket on 14th and I was told there would likely be available on 23rd Nov. Over a week later and still waiting. Very frustrating that I can book to travel all the way across Europe but not the british leg. I know I could book to go via Sheffield instead, but I'd rather go direct if I could.

Assuming you do mean 2024, there are planned engineering works on the 13th and 14th January with no trains to/from King's Cross. Such engineering work usually delays opening trains for booking, beyond the usual reduced horizons for weekends, particularly Sundays.

There will be trains, just not all the way to/from London directly - an alternative connection in/out of London is provided instead.

But LNER must know that too. All you get if you type in London to KX is a blank, and an offer to notify you when the timetable is released. That's the same message from email to LNER and phone call to their help line. If the know there are going to be no trains, why not suggest st p and alternative instead of leaving customer waiting for nothing. I despair of our businesses nowadays when the concept of service is reduced to the minimum they can get away with. Not just trains of course.
