LNER obligitory reservation!

LNER have said that passengers travelling must now have a reservation.

How are they going to enforforce that when the staff do not check tickets on any LNER train and there are no ticket barriers?

I assume this will be until the end of social distancing. There must be concern that it will be the thin end of the wedge, i.e. compulsory reservations will continue afterwards.
