Back in December 2019 I remember going down to the railway line that runs along one of my fields and watching that last LNER blue and yellow hst go by. Now I thought nothing of it until a video popped up on YouTube this evening of that same train on the 21st of dec on it’s way to kings cross at Doncaster. Now I thought it didn’t stop at Doncaster.
I am now intrigued and so I ask what time did this train pass through Doncaster on the 21st of dec on its way to kings cross?

Thanks in advance!

The train was 1Z43 1101 Leeds - King's Cross, so you ought to be able to get a good idea of the time at Doncaster from that.

Yes when I was digging around though it didn’t seem to arrive in Peterborough until 13:40 and it certainly doesn’t take. 2 hrs and 40 mins from Leeds to Peterborough. Thanks for the help as I had assumed it left later seeing as I saw it at about 25 past 1 and my farm is between Peterborough and Grantham.

It ran in quite a slow path, stopping at all stations. I photographed it departing Grantham, and the timestamp on my camera is 13:02 on the 21st.

From memory it had a rather slow path; think it recessed at Retford for a while?

Speaking of the farewell HST, does anyone know the location of the blue set?
I believe most of it is now on a farm somewhere in the fens for conversion to holiday accommodation.
