LNER cancellations 12/09/2024

Anyone know why so many Kings Cross -Leeds and return trains were cancelled yesterday. RTT. Just reported unknown reason.

Wires down between Donny and Leeds

1456 York to Doncaster Carr depot.

Does anyone know where the above departure came in from? There is nothing on RTT. Does anyone know what caused the delays in the Newark area on the ECML this morning?

A northern unit damaged the OHL (wires were not down) and also damaged its pantograph, the unit was stuck across marsh gate junction blocking the Leeds line until about mid day.
LNER were unable to run on the Donny to Leeds line for a lot of the day, with there services either diverting via Hambleton if bimode or diverted to York.
