Has anybody used Amex 12% cash back offer to purchase a season ticket? Is it possible to get the cash back when purchasing at a station?

Not sure if you mean the cash handed to you, if so, no. Cash back is always credited to the card.

It’s in person and online so yes you’ll get it. There’s no mention of a maximum (or minimum spend) although the offer ends on 17/5 so be quick.

Have to be careful who processes the purchase, making sure it's LNER.
If it's a large amount, make a test purchase if it's an unlimited use offer.

And worth noting that the transaction has to be posted by that date - it's not sufficient for you to make the purchase by then. Posting usually happens around 2-3 working days after purchase, based on my recent experience with this offer.

I've received the cashback as long as the transaction happened on the final qualifying date.
