I keep hearing an advert on the radio referencing the 13:04 LNER train, Coach C. It supposedly goes to Edinburgh, Leeds, Newcastle via the Forth Bridge and London. Does such a service exist? Geographically speaking it would have to start somewhere north of Edinburgh, but it wouldn't go to London and Leeds. Doe any such service exist, or at least any services starting at 13:04?

I really wouldn't worry about it. It is an advert.

The closest service is the early Leeds > Aberdeen and late Aberdeen > Leeds trains

Remember driving up Weardale about 10 years ago and not far short of Eastgate I saw a Virgin Voyager parked up filming their big advert at the time. So they do use a lot of "licence" when filming adverts.

Think there's a 13:03 service from Kings Cross to Leeds. Fair enough they'd want to mention all the cities they serve in the advert, and no service serves Aberdeen, Leeds and Kings Cross at once. But they could use an actual time!

Wondering if Coach C is real now!
