LMS 46115 Scots Guardsman was the replacement motive power for The Railway Touring companies " The Cumbrian Coast Express with 45699 Galatea being out of gauge for the Cumbrian coast route . The Scot would take the train from Carnforth over Shap to Carlisle and back to Carnforth via the Cumbrian Coast . We first see the Scot at Scout Green on the climb to Shap summit in less than ideal conditions . The return leg first see 46115 at Thursby and finally climbing Dalton bank in the sunshine.
