LMS 45699 Galatea took the helm of The Railway Touring Companies railtour " The Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express " from Carnforth over Shap to Carlisle and back to Manchester via the Settle and Carlisle line later the same afternoon. 45699 is seen digging in for the climb to Shap summit just short of Grayrigg .
