Hi all , just a quick question .

What has been causing the high number of peak time short forms on London Midland recently ? ( on the Euston Suburban/Outer Suburbans )

While I know LM arent great in terms of short forms anyway , but since Oct-Nov , it has been far worse , with almost daily short forms on peak time services .

So why is it happening for such an extended period ? Does anyone know why ? , and also when these will cease ?

Its not too bad ,as the trains still run , but in horrible conditions

Lost 2 units from derailment/collision. Wifi being fitted to 350s which means an additional unit out of service at a time. I believe the 350/1s have reached some milestone so require major overhauls. And then you've got the usual unit faults/failures.

Thanks all for the replies .

Also , does this mean the 350/1 units are going for major refurb work ( seats trimmed into LM , carpet replaced etc ) or is it too close to the end of the LM franchise ?
