I'm currently working for Freightliner HH but have received a email inviting me for a interview at Bham New st. This would be my first move as I've been with HH ten years. I'm a little apprehensive about what I'll be asked at the interview along with there 25 mile from the depot policy. I'm an hour away in a car and probably 40minutes on my bike, surely they'd of looked into my address before offering me a interview, I believe the vacancies are for the Bham depots? If anyone could give me some pointers it'd be greatly appreciated!!

As a rule of thumb they will Google map it to see your current location. If your out of the current distance they may require you to relocate. Ask at the interview they may be quite lenient

There will probably be some rules questions so brush up on that before you go.

alright bud, I'm in the exactly same boat as you I work for HH and got invited for an interview with LM

Not sure if you have had it yet or not but I had mine on Monday
Its a structured interview and they will ask you the usual sort of questions

- What do you know about LM?
- Why you want to work for LM?
- A few rules based scenario questions
- Where you live and which depot you want will be discussed
- Example of when you have had to take control of a situation?
- A time you have given good customer service
- your current route card
- You'll be asked if you have you any questions (I screwed up on this as my mind went blank)

I can imagine the questions will be mixed up a bit and changed a little from what I had but it will probably be the same basic model. otherwise the 2 guys I had were really friendly and put me at ease even when I screwed up on a couple of questions.

Good luck!

Hi guys just wondering if any of you had Hear back from london midland after the qualified driver interviews? i emailed them a couple of weeks ago and they said they were still deciding on their needs but heard that the latest Trainee intake have started to here back from them. do you think it could just be a case of waiting for the franchise to change over as it would be nice to know either way if successful or not
