Hello :)

I've heard from my Dad that LM have a couple of vacancies coming up in my local area. He was told by a friend he has who works for the company. One was for a ticket office, the other for a platform assistant. I have a few questions regarding both roles and the relevant selection processes:

1) Would anyone know what a 'day in the life' would entail, beyond the obvious duties?

2) What would the selection process be like for both jobs? Would there be this 'LM assessment day' I have heard people talk of, or if the application is good enough would you just get an interview invite etc.

I currently work in a Waitrose branch. The selection process there entailed being invited for a group interview after a successful application form, then if that went well being invited back for a one on one interview with a manager encompassing a branch tour, then if all was well at that point a job was offered with an invite to an induction day. Do you think the LM selection process could involve something similar?

Many thanks.
