LM only fares offpeak restriction code LF & super offpeak code SK BoJ rule.

I know BoJ itself is OK, but can anyone confirm that these codes are OK to do an overnight BoJ on a return portion with the above ticket types?

Thanks

Yes, they are. Travel on the next day must be according to the published time restrictions.

Overnight break of journey (as many times as you want and for as long as you want within the ticket's validity) is permitted on the return half of ALL Off Peak Returns and Super Off Peak Returns, and TOCs are not permitted to restrict it in any way.

This is incorrect as far as I know.

I believe that DfT regulated Off Peak/Super Off Peak tickets cannot be restricted in such a way, but some Off Peak/Super Off Peak tickets, such as those which are TOC Specific (like some of London Midland's) are not regulated whatsoever and can include whatever Break of Journey restrictions they like.

I don't believe First Class fares are regulated either so that could theoretically have BoJ restrictions or whatever else applied to an off peak return.

I don't think this is correct. LM *did* restrict their Super Off Peaks in this way but now do not, and I'm pretty sure them being caught out as not allowed to do it (like VT and their naughty evening peak restrictions north of MKC) was the reason.

Do you know of any tickets you can cite with such a restriction?

Off Peak *Day* Returns can have both directions BoJ restricted (but usually don't, as the risk of reuse is near zero).

Correct AFAIAA, but we are talking about Standard fares here, are we not?

Well, you did say...

So it looks like we're talking about ALL Off Peak Returns ;)

Especially considering most LM Only FSR tickets carry restriction SK which is what is being discussed ITT. London Midland could theoretically restrict BoJ on these.

Just to be clear though, I'm not interested in what LM could theoretically do, only what they do do!
Well LM have no commercial interest in barring overnight BoJ on any of their tickets so it's highly unlikely that it'll happen.
