Today on the 1834 Euston - Bletchley , the train was formed of 2 x 319
The trailing four coaches were 319013 , and the front four was unit 319 441 . Both were in LM livery , but while 319441 was in LM upholstery inside , and in a refreshed state , 319013 was still in FCC colours inside , and looking tired internally .

Is there any reason why some 319s have been refreshed , but some havent ?

I would assume it's finding the time to take them out of service, and the space to accommodate them at Wolverton Works.

Yes, that. The ones that haven't been done have stickers in the door windows apologising for this fact. Though TBH the ex-FCC interiors aren't all *that* tired - one thing First seems to be able to do fairly universally on their TOCs, unlike Arriva, is to keep interiors in reasonable nick.

Cash, time & pressure of service requirements I should think
