LM 153 at Newton Heath

There has been a London Midland 153 sat in Newton Heath TMD for a couple of weeks now (not sure if it's still there as I haven't been down yet this week - it was certainly still there on Friday afternoon...)

Why is it there?

It was used on mcv to clitheroe's last week. It should be at neville hill though.

153366 is what it'll be, currently allocated to Neville Hill.

It's the extra unit allocated for Sellafield services. It should be switched for another 153 for Northern to keep in the next few months.

Although, as Northern aren't strengthening Sellafield services as a result of having the extra unit I can see DfT telling Northern to give it back and not allocating a replacement.

Not sure about this week, but certainly last week and the week before it didn't move from where it was! (Either that, or it goes out every time I'm not there and conveniently finishes it's turn and gets parked up in exactly the same place for when I get back...)
