A graphic message has just been posted on the Llangollen Railway FB page announcing that services for the remainder of September 21 have been suspended due to a "track malfunction".
"The remainder of today's services (Wednesday) have been cancelled due to a track malfunction. We will be in touch with those customers who have booked in advance in due course.
If you are due to travel tomorrow please check back as an announcement will be made as soon as possible."
We usually hear of points failure, or broken rails but "track malfunctions" are somewhat unusual!
