As a sneak preview to next weekend's Llangollen Railcar Gala (16th and 17th of May) we have added some pictures of the class 104 in its new colours to the Gala page of our website.

East Lancs have also confirmed class 122 bubble car 55001 is ready and it is expected to be moved on Wednesday.

Details of the gala are on www.LlangollenRailcars.com

Thanks.

Hi mate, yes it will be excellent this year, a real treat on the Saturday evening too as the East Lancashire Rly's BR all Blue class 122 will be running with the Llangollen Railcars class 104 just repainted into all Blue which looks excellent, and the Class 108 unit in Blue and Grey in a 5 car all blue train. A rare oppourtunity, and a very good value day out!

Looks as if this will be an enjoyable weekend, i've decided to attend & have already booked acommodation in Llangollen & have booked a rare Monday off to travel home to South Wales.
It's just a pity that the weather forecast dosen't look to good for this coming weekend with rain forecast i think, never mind, it should be an enjoyable event, at least we still have a Heritage d.m.u at work in South wales on the Cardiff Queen Street-Cardiff Bay shuttle.
