Hello and not sure if this in the right place so moderators feel free to move it to the best place

In a few weeks time (1st June) I am wanting to take EN415 08:25 Ljubliana - Zagreb. I have a FIP card and know I've left it to late to apply for coupons. I was just wondering if anybody knows how I go about getting a ticket for this journey, is it just buying one on the day and showing my FIP card?

Many thanks in advance

That's about it. Could try buying the night before if you are already in Ljubljana. There's an international travel window in the booking hall, but you don’t want to be stuck behind someone with a complicated enquiry.

Some journey planners show this train as 08.30 from Ljubljana, but it left at 08.25 the other week when I was on it. Sit on the right facing if you can for the best views of the Sava River.

Finally, if you're unaware, allow a good five minutes from the booking office to the platform. The subway is quite a step from the main entrance.

Any of the ticket windows at Ljubljana will sell tickets to Zagreb, you don’t need the international window (tickets to Croatia are counted as ‘inland’)

You will usually find the Public Promotional fare of 9e single is cheaper than the FIP fare (which is off the full price) but the ticket office will advise you.

I had an interesting issue with this once on one of the cross-border local services. I got on in Croatia, expecting to pay in Croatian kuna as the ticket office was shut. They couldn't sell me a ticket in anything other than Euro, and from what I understood from the guard, they had so few people buying tickets from Croatia that it simply wasn't worth the trouble of accepting Kuna onboard.
