For devotees of 317511, it would appear that this unit is currently turning white at the Bombardier paintshops in Ilford. As I rolled into the depot under the cover of darkness there were a couple of unnumbered vehicles parked up outside, including a DTOS in fresh white with all the doors masked up.

I knew Ilford were doing something with 511. It's on the list as having a C4, didn't realise it was having a paint job too.

After 5 years off the road, about time they sorted it out. Now, let's see if they can get 514 sorted too. That's coming up to a year out of service (in June).
