According to Rail magazine it already is so another reminder not to take the magazine literally :P

421, 422 & 423 were the first 3 that NXEA got from LM (in Silverlink livery) and after their modifications, they were pushed straight into service. 421 & 422 (amongst others) are still in Silverlink livery.

I'd believe Tottenham Flyer over any magazine!

On the spot, spot on and up to date!

Thanks for all the contributions!

321334 made its way back from Doncaster today, so expect a new 321 to head up tomorrow.

And not strictly a repaint but 321433 was dragged up to Ilford yesterday.

Thats all the 321 out of store at Eastleigh and all are now with there respective operators (or at Wabtec)

But 321424/425 are both stored in GE land along with a few at Hornsey (407/408/409/418/419/420?).

432 in service now, came out on the 1700 Norwich on Saturday.

Long term stopped 321346 has been showing as 'tests' for the last few weeks so perhaps that one is on the way back aswell.

321425 hasn't seen service for a while now. I believe it last saw service whilst working up on the Colchester-Walton line until it was involved in a fatality, and hasn't been out of Ilford since. I have managed to get a few piccies of 425 (in a rather sorry state) if anyone is interested. 424 I understand to be at Clacton for modifications. 426 has recently been released from Clacton after mods.

317512- finally!

Presume 317886/all 317/8s done now then?

Hopefully on to 317/6 next- would seem logical...

I imagine the diesal units are not being painted as owned by different ROSCO and based at Norwich?

317886 IS NOT done yet. It's currently at Ilford with some sort of wheel bearing fault.
317511 is also NOT done. Fingers crossed that 317649/50/51 are done soon. As nice as the WAGN livery is, those units are looking very tatty.

I don't have any idea what's going on with the DMU's. The only DMU in NX livery is still only 156419.

What's exactly the new Southeastern livery scheme now? White with light blue doors for Metro, white / dark blue with light blue doors for Mainline and dark blue with light blue doors for Highspeed? Or are the repainted 465s still to get a blue stripe?

Wabtec Rail Limited has been awarded the contract by Angel Trains for the C6 overhaul of their Class 456 and 466 EMU’s and the C4 overhaul of their Class 466 EMU’s. The units are currently leased from Angel Trains by London South Eastern Railway (Southeastern).

There are 50 x 4 car Class 465 units to undergo C6 overhaul and 43 x 2 car Class 466 units to undergo both C4 and C6 overhaul. The first unit is due on works in March 2010 and the last unit is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.

The overhauls will be carried out in Wabtec Rail’s Heavy Shop and will be Project Managed by Mark Kynman who successfully managed the recently completed project for the refurbishment of the NXEC HST Trailer Cars.

This contract builds upon the already strong and successful relationship between Wabtec Rail and Angel Trains.

All the Networkers will be white with light blue doors (a few have been reliveried already)
The Electrostars I presume will be white with darker blue doors (one 375/6 unit has this livery now IIRC, not sure what the rest are going to be)
The Javelins have their dark blue with lighter blue doors and will keep that for now.

Hope this helps.

I think you're confused here with the Jubilee livery which is still originating from SET. Some Electrostars now have the new Govia Southeastern livery applied, which is white with a dark blue stripe and light blue doors.

What I was wondering is if the livery on the 375s can be considered as their "Mainline" livery? And a logical further question: can the livery applied to the Networkers (without blue stripe) then be considered as "Metro" livery? And as the 376s are inner-suburban trains, then I assume these will also get this Metro livery?
And the Javelins have complete dark blue with light blue doors as "Highspeed" livery, but that was already clear ;)

A Paul Wesley photo [dated 13th August] on fotopic shows southeastern 465241 on way to Doncaster.

The abrail website notes 357207 and 357209 in new NXc2c livery.

A photo by Yorkshire Rail on a trip via London to Paris has confirmed 357209.

Can anyone confirm 357207 - the only missing one in the range 357201-211 [which seems to be the way they do it at c2c!!].

357 209 is definiately done as I had that on my train home last night (but didn't get a chance to get on here to put it on).

Not seen 207 for a while now, but will keep an eye out for it.
