We should see further work to install compliant toilets very soon with units retrofitted.

Thanks for that, I didn't know that was planned!

Secondly and I realise this has been brought up before but any reason why Southeastern networkers first appeared without a stripe and the equipment cupboards painted/vinyled? Am I right this work was finished at depots? As far as I know later units are delivered completed

I'm not entirely 100% to be honest with you. In terms of paint/vinyl colours I can't see any reason for blue not being applied by the stripe or on the equipment covers. Having said that, there was a period when the equipment covers caused some overheating, so that could have played a part.

In slightly different news, there's a 5M81 Wolverton to Bedford movement for a 319 on Monday. 319004 went to Wolverton for C6 (and repaint) on 14/07, whilst 319011 went on 21/07. To me, then, it seems likely 319004 will return on Monday repainted, although it could be both like last time/or the other unit, so best to wait until the time to confirm which units. (319362 is also at Wolverton but I find it unlikely it'll return to Bedford)

Does anyone know what shall be making its way to Springburn now that the ScotRail 170 refurb is more or less finished?

Not sure why 170401-424 are not being seen to as they are the oldest in the fleet

Wonder if the 156s will retain their as built interior for much longer

401-424 (and possibly 470/471) were refurbished a few years ago, hence not treated under this program as they are deemed not to need another seeing to as yet. Probably a subject for the new franchisee.

As for this batch going off lease once the E&G goes live, no chance. As has been discussed on here several times, it is more likely that the 156s and 158s will be the first cascaded away.

319004 definitely repainted and sitting ready at Wolverton, so almost certain it'll be that coming back tonight.

315834 stopped last night for repaint.

90002 is back at NC from CE, no repaint. This will go to TO later this year, or early next for repaint. 90011 currently at CE for its exam then repaint.

Can I just ask if this is the first 315 to be repainted in a while or if the repainting programme has continued normally. It's just there haven't been any reports of a re-liveried 315 on here in quite a while now.

Lack of reports I believe, 315820/25/30 all done recently. Periodic checking on Flickr usually brings a result or two.

150261 with toilet mods repainted into plain dark blue
Hopefully the 150/1s will receive a similar interior eventually?

FGW now have coach numbers on the front of the 158s however painted black so not obvious to most

Based upon their previous C6s, 315824 and 315833 should be reliveried by now
Has anyone seen them recently?

Also to be added to the list are 319009, 319011 and 365528 which were done some time ago.

319426 is in a hybrid livery.

3 coaches in white but with purple doors.
One coach (77341) white on one side but the old FCC livery on the other.
None of the white coaches have coach numbers.

Indeed so 170270 needs to be done ASAP, which means in AGA-speak it will be done last :P

Adam :D

That one looks like the 321 did with original metallic grey livery with touched up ends where the rainbow stripes were?

334012 has gone to Kilmarnock for internal refurbishment, replacing 334004.

Just been thinking... might be best to start a new section underneath the current 'Thameslink refresh' section for the units in Govia Thameslink Railway livery from tomorrow morning and in future. Can't say the unit numbers at the moment.

Yeah, that monstrosity. Look in the corner of the windscreen, the raibow stripes are still visible.... This is why I (and many others) HATE NXEA.

Adam :D

And to date things further, the roof is still in Anglia Railways Turquoise. Like the XC/Virgin hybrid livery on the Voyagers, the GA 170s are another Hyrbid of GA, NXEA, ONE & Anglia.

Yepp, Personally I would have liked to see GA simply devinyl it so it would fit in with 170271-3. They devinyled 360115 for exactly the same reason so it seems odd that 170270 wasn't done. It always annoys me when I see an XC Voyager where the imprint of the old Virgin nose badge is still visible like a scar, and where the vinyl is worn away round the driver's door and places like that and Virgin Red can be seen. Make it look like the poor thing is bleeding... It's a shame. I really do like XC, they have a better livery (and IMO 1st class) than VT but the Voyagers could really have done with a better relivery. Also of note, XC 221s have stickers above the bogies saying "Danger - Tilting Train" despite the fact the tilt system was removed (not just disabled, actually removed) years ago, whereas VT 390s have no such stickers in place.

Adam :D
