Liverpool to Wolverampton 27/12/11

I have noticed no train services to Wolverhampton from Liverpool in the morning on London Midland. Would I be able to travel on Virgin to Stafford and get the bus from there due to unavailable LM trains or go via Chester or Shrewsbury ?

This would be on the £30.20 open return ticket thanks, I need to get to Wolves before 12 thanks.

Yes. That's what the journey planner tells you to do.

I was just checking because i thought the £30.20 ticket was LM only.

The £30.20 ticket is routed only via Crewe, so you may only travel via Crewe, and is not a train operator specific ticket, so you may travel on Virgin.
