Such late notice, yeah.

Tomorrow (perhaps today when you're reading this) I need to get from Liverpool to Rainham (Kent) sometime in the evening, and I'll probably just be doing Lime Street-Euston, walk to St Pancras, then HS1. On the way back on Saturday though, I want to stay in London then go back to Liverpool next Wednesday.

If I get an Off Peak return Liverpool to Rainham (which is ~£50 with my railcard), can I use it for all the journeys? Or will I have to split at London in order to use the second 'leg' of my journey next Wednesday? The price of splitting is about £8 more expensive but it's £8 I'd rather keep if I can.

Any ideas?

Next question: Plans changed a little, if I get a ticket Liverpool to Hollingbourne but wanna come back to London from Chatham via HS1, do I need to get a ticket to Chatham instead? And then will that be valid to Hollingbourne? Or do I need to get Liverpool to Chatham rtn then Chatham to Hollingbourne rtn too? I've confused myself.
