Liverpool to London Euston Jan 1st/2nd

Hi any ideas on a cheap way to return to Liverpool? Virgin are charging £11-00 to £15-00 to travel to London on the 1st but approx £30-00 to return on the 2nd. Any way around this? Thanks all!

If your thinking of doing VT Out,LM Return
LM do AP between London and Liverpool for £11.00 on the 2nd for :-

xx53 xxxx Stafford
xxxx xx09 Stafford
xx10 xxxx Liverpool Crime Street

Total Journey Time 3h24

One slight advantage is they connect onto a Birmingham - Liverpool express service at Stafford,
as apposed to one which stops at some of the smaller shacks.
