Looking at real time trains it’s showing one service to Euston per hour

And one to new st

I thought it would be one to international and one to Euston per hour?

However the West Midlands timetable shows more or less every daytime train going to Euston twice an hour with early morning and late evening exceptions to new st, Northampton and Crewe

Can anyone clarify?

The workings are different in each direction, the whole timetable being quite complex. Southbound, one service is attaches to the service from Crewe to Euston which is shown as the through train. For passengers it is a through train. Northbound the equivalent starts at International formed off a Rugeley service.
