If Steve Rotherham becomes the new Metro Mayor. He will set out to upgrade Merseyrail by expansion and bring back Liverpool's famous overhead railway line as part of the Sargent Pepper loop line.

Where is the money coming from to pay for this, noting how much the grant from Government seems to have had an axe taken to it in recent years.

I am sure that the good people of Liverpool can name different priorities to this.
