Liverpool Lime Street Platform A

For many years Liverpool Lime Street station had two Platform 1’s - one of them in the main trainshed and the other serving the underground Wirral Line.

I see that the underground platform now seems to be known as Platform A and assume this has been renumbered to overcome any confusion. Does anyone know when the change came about?

Coo, I hadn't noticed that.

Examining my database it looks like the schedule information was amended on 23 October 2020, changing 1 to A for Wirral Line trains.
