Does anyone know why Network Rail are having so much trouble with clocks in Lime Street Recnetly ?

I have noticed that the two on the Departure Boards are now covered over with posters.

It is not so long agon since t he Big Clock above the VT travel centre went extreemly slow and is now fixed.

They were working fine on Saturday and Sunday including the one above WHSmiths.

Rail House on Lord Nelson Street set some of the clocks, hence why Liverpool Central and other loop stations clocks stopped or were late. The clocks in Lime Street that stopped were by the departure boards, covered by a Network Rail poster apologising.

Just a case of waiting for Thalys.

So you've given up waiting for North of London Eurostar then? ;)

lol, I presume he means Thales ;)

They are notoriously slow at fixing things. There has been a screen at Ashton station broken since August. According to the Area Station Manager, it is Thales' responsibility to fix it, however, they deny this. Result = passenger screen broken for over 6 months, which hasn't earned Northern any brownie points with GMPTE!
