Thanks in advance for any help
Am planning on a day trip to the lakes in a few weeks on a Saturday with a friend
looking to go to either Windermere from Liverpool, bus to Keswick and on to Penrith and back to Liverpool (or the other way round)
Any tips for most cost effective way of doing this please?
Departure / Return station will be Prescot with a Disabled Railcard
Cheers!

Off Peak Day Return Prescot -> Lancaster (route via Preston) is £12.00 with Disabled Railcard discount.

Or £12.60 from Liverpool Stations.

Then as @mm333 has just suggested, a Lakes Day Ranger at £17.10 also with a Disabled Railcard discount.

How about a Precot - Lancaster Off Peak Return with railcard [£12] and a Lakes Day Ranger at £17.10p?

Edit:-
I see great minds think alike :)
