Noticed posters up today on the network advising James Street platform 1 will be closing shortly (can't remember the date).

Trains from the Wirral will pass through but not stop, but anyone who wants James Street can stay on the train and go round the loop (extra 7 mins journey time).

Passengers boarding will have to board a Wirral bound train
